Productivity and performance is higher among workplaces that have true and strong gender diversity. Yet despite this, women account for only 28 percent of the STEM workforce.
Educational systems and organizations need to do more to address and combat the gender imbalance. Only by taking action can we create and support a truly diverse and inclusive STEM workforce.
